Get a blender and make these.

Breakfast, 1 cup of oats one cup of milk and a banana

lunch, 3 handfuls of cabbage a carrot 2 cherry tomatoes. An apple, pear and orange and half a cup of blueberries.

I also add a serving of Protein to each.

I had a micky d's smoothie for lunch today, it was actually pretty good :)

Wow guys, now I know why we (you lot) are called plumb bums. I am one of those people who have always wanted to put on weight but never been able to. I think I have what is classed as a fast metabolism. You guys must have a slow one.

I have been watching these dvds my wife has bought which is all about healthy living and how dieting is actually really bad for you. This guy says that you should calculate your target weight in kgs and eat 1 gram of protein a day to every kg. Also, you should have double the amount of fats to protein. I can't remember the rest of it but they are pretty awesome lectures

My problem is just pure greed, always has been and always will be, i love to stuff my face.
So far though I'm enjoying resisting the need for greed :D

Ray --- Guys I used a customers scales today and im weighing in at a mighty 14.6 stone, and a mear 5ft 11 height so this is my start off weight,,,, pity it wasnt last year i was 17st 40" waist

Played my first 5 a side last night for about 9 months. Didnt realise how much I missed it. Knees were a bit sore this morning, but no pain, no gain.

It's 1 gram of protein to every pound, and double fats could be pretty dangerous IMO

It's all Ray's fault, how about a diet competition, yesterday I was at Barnstaple Tescos buying a large bag of My Dog dog food for my loyal pet labbie and was in the checkout queue when a woman behind me asked if I had a dog. What did she think I had an elephant? So, since I'm cynical and have a dry sense of humor, on impulse I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, I was starting the Dog Diet again. I added that I probably shouldn't, because I ended up in hospital last time, but I'd lost 10 kilograms before I woke up in intensive care with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms. I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that the way that it works is to load your pockets with My Dog nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry. The food is nutritionally complete so it works well and I was going to try it again. (I have to mention here that practically everyone in queue was now enthralled with my story.) Horrified, she asked me if I ended up in intensive care because the dog food poisoned me. I told her no, I stepped off the kerb to sniff an Irish Setter's arse and a car hit me. I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack he was laughing so hard. I'm now banned from Tesco.!

Thought I would update you guys with my weight just weighed myself now as I'm off to France tomorrow to watch the Le Mans 24hr race and won't be back till Monday.

Weighed in at 15 stone dead. So lost 6 lb and I fully expect to put it all back on over the race weekend. With plenty of beer chips and burgers and anything else the cheese eating surrender monkeys have to offer.

That last line sounds familiar
Think I've lost about 4-5 Lbs but feel guilty for stuffing my face tonight though :O

Well it depends. On the scales I weighed myself for my starting weight I've lost about 4 pounds. But the wife bought a new set, which says I'm a stone and half heavier. Go figure.

Going well

having twisted around in the engine room of the old boat yesterday, it seems I have damaged muscle or neck somehow. My point being, I wish my head didnt weigh so much as a neck in spasm is agony, cant look left or use the old left arm today, so had to spend it lying on the sitting room floor all day!!

Safe to say I havent lost any weight, but not being able to get up stopped me eating so I havent gained either :)
