Hello
I am a qualified plumber and about 3 yrs ago moved into a new house with an unvented system. The blow off outside the property from the cylinder cupboard started to pass water and after having the plumbers who did the property back twice to investigate (both times they swapped the 6bar PRV on the caleffi multiblock valve), I purchased a complete caleffi 22mm valve and fitted it myself. This seemed to do the trick for about 6 months but it has started to blow off again, could it be something else causing the blow off or could it be my incoming mains pressure is very high.

Thanks
Peter the Plumber

get someone who has a g3 ticket to repair the essential item or recommission the cyl as you have to do with certain makes. otherwise stop wasting your money on part swapping parts that arent broken

Something doesn't seem right about this thread.
I don't think this is a plumber, or certainly doesn't seem from UK.
Wording is just strange.
Needs the OP to register with the forum anyhow, before getting advice, although it has to be a G3 qualified person anyhow, so as Lame said.

It is illegal for you to attempt any repairs on an unvented cylinder unless you have the relevant training and certification. Those of us who are can see the issue straight away.
