I have a insurance job to try and rescue a poorly installed quad shower the customer wants to save the tiling if possible and has a few spare so fingers crossed it may work , the loss adjuster allowed em £1500 that will just about cover materials. Kop

Got one like this to fit in a house where I have already fitted 2 verticals and a horizontal in an extension. I like them but they are heavy and I’m a big lad.

Maybe "cast iron" is in vogue 🤔 - big lad are you! Challenge you to an arm wrestle!?

Little smidge of clear silicone under the nylon seats helps keep them in place.

I'll try polyurethane glue next time, sets in 15mins.
 
Changing this monstrosity and met with the bloody soil pipe behind right where I want to put some clips and had to be slightly off centre

luckily the top shower head is fixed on a backplate so will have to be pipe supported

don’t have a clue hence the changing and removing tried for about a month to identify it some Chinese thing
 
Wish I hadn't started this one on a Friday previous installer made a poor job of making good the walls fell apart on me once old boiler was out grrrr, kop
