I have a insurance job to try and rescue a poorly installed quad shower the customer wants to save the tiling if possible and has a few spare so fingers crossed it may work , the loss adjuster allowed em £1500 that will just about cover materials. Kop

It’s looking sharp Simon, is a kind of mixer tap/watering can?

I took hot and cold through double check valves behind barrel, up through the 15mm gate valves for hot and cold taps and then t'd together in wall. 15mm comes out through bottom of watering can and then reduces to 10mm which I managed to direct down through the spout.

Nice one! 👍
Bit more interesting to do than the usual, hard to price that sort of thing though, but I’m guessing an existing customer so do job then send bill?

No new customer. Estimated day and half plus materials. Came in slightly under estimate. Customer pleased and already have to go and look at a couple of bathrooms through her recommendation.

Ooo slight criticism you can’t use them nrv on the blow off there only rated for gravity eg overflows and not temp or pressure

Fml joiner who can’t build a square wall it’s out 4” cross and 11/2” in 800mm (width of the tray)

That looks fun o_O

Had the joys of installing a corner basin on job I was on last week on a similarly square wall. Also had to re do the walls where the shower is going as he used cement board off cuts pieced together like a blimin jigsaw puzzle with plenty of huge gaps.

old Worcester’s 2008 never been serviced and then the electrodes Screws strip the threads so you have to make them an m6
