I have a insurance job to try and rescue a poorly installed quad shower the customer wants to save the tiling if possible and has a few spare so fingers crossed it may work , the loss adjuster allowed em £1500 that will just about cover materials. Kop

spot on opened the case to water pouring out of the bottom good job it was above a sink

yep this one was 11 years old and some dopey person replace the burner gasket 3 years ago without pulling and cleaning the baffles they prob would if come out then

went to another one this afternoon and the last engy said he couldn’t adjust the gas rate past 15kw on a 30kw boiler as it was breaking the law

guess the ppm went high once he’s passed 15kw so just made it up to get out fml

I really try to not criticise other engineers as it is a pet hate of mine, but people do make it difficult sometimes. 🤣

I slated him doesn’t help I wasn’t in the best of moods who installs a heating system on drops with no drain offs had to drain with little tubs took me 2 hours to swap a rad valve because it was leaking

Yes, and I dumped the water down there while doing a mains flush
