I have a insurance job to try and rescue a poorly installed quad shower the customer wants to save the tiling if possible and has a few spare so fingers crossed it may work , the loss adjuster allowed em £1500 that will just about cover materials. Kop

What and how did you do the watertight floor mate?
Used a mapie tanking kit H comes with instructions simply prime the area , apply tanking liquid, fit the waterproof membrane tape, paint over the edges of the membrane and up the wall, I will then tile the floor and add the bottom row of tile. 👍

My hell this week all vp stuff had to re make the shower valve around 5 times due to slack threads

Been a long week chaps I've done to much feeling burnt out the old body is aching knees are shot 🥴🥴 done loads of making good and tiling on that old cottage bathroom , this gas run totally replaced nearly a 30 m run all all swapped over and tested and made good , a kitchen sink, washing machine, and gas hob this afternoon into a 20mm quartz worktop that was fun clips were for a 40 mm the fitter didn't allow for fixing it down probably thought it would get stuck down 7 pm on a Saturday finally got in the van, then had to do the shopping for us and my elderly neighbour 8.40 pm walked through my front door. Regards kop

Time to off load 😜 , what the hell is happening out there my workload is off the scale I'm drowning in work looking six months ahead now done my usual and over commited what a dick 😂😂 , now have to spend all the summer months stuck in bathrooms with the odd day off for boiler stuff , now pushing work to my stepson huge two storey extension today , I have two kitchen fitters I work in with they are the same so got to keep them happy as well , the wife is still off work now 13 weeks after a fall at home broke both her wrists all healing well after a small op on the left one but still a weakness there no way she can do her old job just yet, me own body's hurting knees are shot struggling a bit 🥴 on the bright side weathers set to change a few things in the diary to look forward to double jabbed so now not so worried keep well all .

Regards kop

Closing the floor up chaps . Have a relaxing weekend . Kop

Ohhh the fun non standard sized tiles :D

Brick bond them would be the only option as for height :D good luck and remember to use a 10mm bed then you can level them :D

Wouldn't look right on a 300 mm square tile Shaun but I know what your saying bud , I am putting a bed down and back buttering each tile to help level them and using a tile leveling wedge system ball ache but it needs doing won't be perfect but its the rustic cottage look . Regards kop 👍
