I have a insurance job to try and rescue a poorly installed quad shower the customer wants to save the tiling if possible and has a few spare so fingers crossed it may work , the loss adjuster allowed em £1500 that will just about cover materials. Kop

3 vertical rads fitted , I got them online from the radiator outlet at a reasonable price matching trvs and lockshields struggled to find anything local these seem to be good if you need rads fast worth a look 👍. Kop

Combi swap the end of last week and started a bathroom that the tiles were stuck on with silicone and the wall was soaking

I wouldn't worry about it, sometimes it has to be done 😂 I've seen much worse in the building trade than notched joists - found a floating cavity wall once

Anyone’s arse start twitching when you have to cut holes in this stuff :D can never double check too much

Yes. It's also annoying now, none of our suppliers store them right so they're all bowed to f*** Have a right nightmare fitting them sometimes. I'll also refuse to fit the MDF ones, but now multipanel have started using MDF. Managed to get a different brand at our local builders merchants.

Yep these ones were the “new” mdf ones which came with smiles luckily the mp addy is good and strong using 3 tubes per full board

I won't use mdf, local merchants uses Perform Panels which are still ply.

Need to get the current wetroom finished. Then a four day new bath, basin and a bit of tiling to round off another busy year.

Been slowed down as Mother in Law passed on Friday, not unexpected at 95 but still heartbreaking for the wife and kids. Last couple of days were rough as she'd had no fluids for 10 days and heavily sedated.

EvilDrPorkChop, nice one.
Can you tell me where that basin/wc unit is from and how wide it is, cheers.
It’s Tavistock and it was 1000mm wide (I’m pretty sure)

We got it from James Hargreaves, so I’m not sure if they badge it up as one of their own. It was really good quality though 👍🏻 have been impressed with the Tavistock furniture of recent.
