Hi,
I have no hot water yet the CH works fine.
The boiler does recognise the demand for HW and the boiler fires for about 20 seconds when the hot tap is turned on before going out.
There are no fault lights on!
Condenser pipe and flue are clear.
Any ideas please.

It might be worth looking at the motorised valve if it's a 3 port.

I was thinking diverter valve.
Is their a way to check it without replacing it?

is it the greenstar 24 i junior? or 24 i system boiler? need to know this first really

greenstar 24i doesnt have a divertor valve? is it the junior ??

could also be the flow sensor if so check the voltage across the red and black cables control board if theres not 5v present its the pcb

check the yelloow and black cables with the water running if theres 1.5 to 3 v is across the wires then its fine otherwise replace sensor.

im sure theres a divertor valve unless thats the 28i dont jump on me if there isnt though haha.

Fixed!!!
A carefully placed donk with a hammer on the diverter vavle seems to have fixed things.
I'd been away for 4 weeks and it had obviously stuck.

Thanks for everyones help.
PS it's a Junior
:)

me too - but wnjswozo was pretty convincing when he said they dont so made me think twice:p

suppose he was thinking of the system heat only.
