I have a insurance job to try and rescue a poorly installed quad shower the customer wants to save the tiling if possible and has a few spare so fingers crossed it may work , the loss adjuster allowed em £1500 that will just about cover materials. Kop

Anybody having trouble getting materials. Ordered a screen, basin, toilet and basin mixer from local independent from frontline. Come back with delivery week commencing 2nd November.
Normally their stuff is next day!
Yes mate I have been waiting weeks for bathroom stuff .

Very nice mate. What do you do with the old bbu and flow and return?
Removed the BB and fire, 28mm gravity pipework removed and new flow and return teed into existing heating pipework under floorboards.
The gas was a bit of a pig, lifted loads of floorboards and it was all in 3/8 iron

Some good deals on Vaillant combis, std flue and omega filter at Mr central heating if you have one nearby

Will have a look but I tend to fit the vaillant filter for the extra warranty. I have got a bbu to combi coming up.

I’m afraid I’ve been beaten can’t get the bottom spring baffle out

even tried to see if I could turn it to loosen it

Gave them the option fix price from worc or new boiler
