    Pre cut holes in bath

Hi, I have a bath needs to be replaced but I need to make sure that the bath that I find is able to have a side tap (if that makes sense) as we already have a tap on the wall. Our bath is 1500sm and I am just wondering if baths come with the water and drainage holes pre cut or if they are cut...

Hi, Helping a friend, his soil stack is cast iron. The bath and basin wastes (all removed now) went into individual entries on the stack. No hot water in bath tap

The only hot tap that doesn't give constant hot water in the house is the bath tap. It gets hot for seconds and then goes lukewarm/cold. Waste pipe connection for freestanding bath

Hi all, I'm currently in the middle of first fixing the waste pipe for my freestanding bath. I've created a mock version out of plastic to determine where the waste enters down through the floor - see photo. I was just wondering is there any minimum length the pipe has to run after the trap...

The bath taps have 22mm inlets currently the cold water mains 15mm is fixed to the tap by a copper adapter 15mm to 22mm. The hot water is 22mm gravity fed. Is it ok to add a 15mm T to the cold water pipe and then add 22ml adaptor to the T to connect to a 22m TMV . I cannot find any TMValves...

What height should a AAV be under bath?

I'm installing a new bathroom. I have a combined drain for the bath and shower (2 x 40mm >> 50mm >> stack) and have a McAlpine VP2 AAV to fit under the bath to avoid syphoning of the shower trap. Is this type of AAV correct and how high does it have to be above the bath/shower traps? Thank you.

32mm basin trap, but 40mm bath trap

Hi all. I'm just curious...why do bath traps use 40mm connections and pipework and yet basin traps use 32mm? I have a very short length (1.25m) of 40mm pipe leading from the bath into the soil pipe. Half way along this run, I have a 40mm 't' connector, from which the pipework from the basin...
