Regulations for fitting new water main from meter to house

Hi, I'm having some issues with my current water main leaking. We had an extension put onto our house back in 2013, during which we moved our kitchen into the extension on the opposite side of the house. The stop tap was positioned in what would become the middle of our lounge, so the plumber...

Hi, I'm new to UK plumbing system and got lost as don't know names/diameters/availability of the parts I need to do the job. I guess I'd need to remove one of the copper fittings and order a flexible fitting of some sort and diameter. Don't worry about the length I would get a suitable one...

Just had first fix of concealed shower valve. The wall plate elbows that will feed a shower arm and bath spout are not quite level. How to connect to this fitting?

Here is a pic of a fitting on a duplex stainless buffer cylinder. The thread looks to be 1" BSPP. Any idea of the best way to connect to this? Is there some kind of gasket/o-ring/olive meant for these? or is it best to use a tapered fitting with pipe with dope and hemp?

Help on getting a water tight fitting

Forgive my ignorance. I was performing a test of a new manifold today, using mains water pressure to the 22mm flow pipe and back through the return. Unfortunately it failed as one of the joints where the 22mm copper pipe connects to the manifold failed and water leaked out. I'm now wondering...

Thermostatic bath shower mixer fitting with taps reversed

Hi, I have finally decided to swap out the stand alone taps in my bath for a mixer. Fitting to extend pipe 10mm for shower

Hi, I bought a new mixer shower. Was hoping to just swap the old bar for the new... never that easy though. The original pipes are only projecting past the tiles roughly 25mm. They are those z type fittings to adjust to 150mm centre. I reckon if I can extend these by 10mm I can get enough thread...
