First combi i can remember seeing was a worcester in the late 70's. Can't remember much about it or what model it was. It was a floor stander and looked like a hw cyl with a burner under it.
I never paid it too much attention as i was only there fitting a new bathroom.

Heatslave junior and senior Tom, used look after some flats with them some wall mounted some floor

Heatslave junior and senior Tom,

Apart from Worcester, Vaillant, Chaffoteaux and Vokera, were there any others? Back in the early-mid '80s?

I can't recall any until Gemini and fuelsaver-combi, but I think they were later.

baxi brought out the Bahama,it was carp but baxi were late comers to the market they then re badged a chaff and called it a genesis that was also a bad idea, baxi management pi55 ups where designs are thought out must be good(but cant be equaled by ideals icos/isar) then some dude who was stoned designed the 133,that must have been good sh4t because it actually detached the designer from earth let alone reality they finally gave in bought ocean, created the 105 and it hit the floor running quickly becoming the uk,s biggest selling combi, they then brought out the duotec another cracker IMHO,sadly the Bahama '133 designer fell off the wagon, back onto the crack and designed rge GA and in a very bad episide desined the neta tec think he,s since been sacked, opr shot,or killed by bod something like that

I had forgotten the genesis! What a dog.

In fact, thinking about it, Baxi have only ever made two good combis. The Performa/105e series, which went from nothing to the biggest selling combi in the UK in 12 months, and then the Duotec/Platinum/Gold family.

Just about everything else was rubbish.
