just came across this thread, seems like a good idea. I think we should have plumbers arms members only(Red username) as already stated, each person should provide proof of insurance, gas safe, qualifications etc. They should also state all their services so they could be matched to potential customers.

Looks like this is dead in the water now. To be fair the more I have thought about it the more I'm tending to shy away from it. You'll probably end up getting people wanting stuff done on the cheap and corners wanting to be cut. It could very easily end up like myhammer.com etc.
