They offer that flue for the isar range

An interesting example of a b/f oil boiler flue. Even more interesting is the second wallhung boiler above it with its flue into the top of the porch! Apparently the whole system was done by some man-and-dog firm which normally only did small domestic jobs, so some of the heating was undersized, boiler pipework a mess, you get the idea! Now getting the whole thing sorted out properly!

Installed October 1985. S plan. Still working header tank crystal clear. Boiler only replaced due to relocation. Condensing system boiler with welded aluminium hex ..... Love to see a Modern boiler do that!

That's gross! Who ever thought that avocado was a great colour for a bathroom suite? I used to fit them, and ask are you sure? 5mm thick bath sometimes 3mm, what a heap of crap. No wonder there is so much silicone with all that bath movement.

What a 40 year old condensing system boiler with ally hex ? Really?? Sunny one?

I think the comment was more along the lines that it was still working after 40 years

Got called to price for replacing a cylinder. Customer had originally asked their odd job man if they could do away with their shower pump. This is the aftermath of his solution......

If you haven't guessed, he simply connected the cylinder to the cold mains! But its ok, because he fitted a pressure reducing valve and expansion vessel...

An undersized vessel not suitable for potable water. Worst of all, there was no temperature or pressure relief valve fitted!
