It is. I'd have a crack at the boiler but I have enough on my plate, want the warranty and I just can't be bothered doing the boiler as well. The plumbing is easy, radiators on the walls copper risers then plastic for the rest, supported every 300mm, insulated to water bylaws in the cold areas, as thick as I can go every where else especially in the DHW.

You are correct mate, plumbing radiators is easy. With the regs they have stopped DIY installs for competent people. The last few jobs I've seen have all had plastic pipe.

The other quote has come through at £3,113

". Qty 1. VERTICAL FLUE OPTION The vertical flue option is required to meet current gas safe regulations or for ease of access on installation. The vertical flue kit is required when installing a flue run up and out through a flat or pitched roof. The kit contains the vertical roof terminal, vertical connector, flue support brackets, fittings required for vertical flue, clips and roof slate needed for termination through roof work on either a pitched or flat roof The flue is the part of the boiler which allows exhaust gases to exit the boiler. The flue is typically situated directly behind the boiler enabling waste gases to exit safely straight out of the external wall of your home. 1 3. HONEYWELL EVOHOME OPENTHERM KIT"

Lacking in detail as to the work so ive asked them to add more but its in the same ballpark.

Sorry but they shout eco scheme company to me (normally low standards)

Maybe wrong

Any chance of a pic ?

Took them two days in total, first day the boiler and the pipework went in, filled it up and left it over night.
Second day they drained and flushed through, fitted the flue and wired it in, setup Evohome.

Liking Evohome, very convenient having each room a different temperature and only heated when required. I just need to repipe the hot water a shorter route to the kitchen. Currently goes up to the bathroom then to the other side of the house, then down to the dining room and along and round the kitchen.

Looking good

Me personally I would get the pipes lagged need prob length and a bit of both 22 and 15 x 9mm

Looks a good job
Is it in a garage?

Yes. The old boiler was on the other side of the garage and had the pipes go all round the garage before going into the house. So for this one I thought on the house wall would be best so the pipes can go straight in.
