ive worked it out as you say and I get this, which tbf isn't goin to make much difference and is also going the rite way aslong is doesn't exceed the maximum permisable volume per hour.

8m of 35mm @ 0.00084 pm
7m of 22mm @ 0.00032 pm
12m of 15mm @ 0.00014 pm

8 x 0.00084 = 0.00672 m3
7 x 0.00032 = 0.00224 m3
12 x 0.00014 = 0.00168 m3

total pipe work = 0.1072 m3

meter (u6) 0.008 m3

total of meter and pipework = 0.01864 m3

+ 10% =0.001864 m3

total instantiation = 0.020504 m3

Right

if a zero governor actually pulls the gas through could that not lead to problems with other appliances if it overpulled or even lock up the meter regulator?

yeah I do have a viper im resitting so it is a few years out of date probably, the tightness test is a bit different to when I went through this last time il have a look in there see what it says

yes and no

if pipwork is sized correctly no as it will have the required amount of gas so wont pull from other appliances

yes if the pipework is too small / distance is too great for 15mm/22mm etc

have a look at H6

Yeah it doesnt include the meter in my book ...think that means its out of date on this?

nice one that looks like what I got now....sorry to be a pain but do you have any advice on unsafe situations? I find it a nightmare distinguishing between AR ID and NCS? is there like a rule of thumb? as an example one mock question was ...You see a scorch mark on a carpet below a radiant gas fire how would you classify the situation? I put ID as at any time it could set the carpet alight but the tutor said its AR which surprised me.
