ripped out this ravenheap today, fitted by a local halfwit gsr, crap work, condensate looks crap, its a attempt to create a trap, dont know why,the boiler has a internal one ,its not sealed at the top of the 40mm,flue was also not sealed either end of the wall, thats rock wool making good FFS,flue pulled apart in my hands, and yes BG had been looking after it,though i am not slagging BG it is after all down to the engineers judgement

Mates doing his kitchen up, popped round to see how he's doing, said he turned gas off cause he could smell gas, wonder why lol, lucky was in me van. Stripped out and capped off till I can get him the bits he needs Monday. Think previous owner of the property loved DIY looking at all the other shoddy work that's gone on.

It's not meant for turning of is it, some rough sods out there could it be the bricklayer.

😀 and to make it worse it was on a sprinkle system and this at the other end and yes the stop tap was the wrong way round as normal 😀

got called out to a county school water peeing eveywhere, opened the pannel to find most joints had pop or pulled out and this is what i found, little side note this was done by a plumber and not a builder.

Unvented under unit heater and the coil is extending the distance to the first stop tap, so no expansion vessel required.
