I have a insurance job to try and rescue a poorly installed quad shower the customer wants to save the tiling if possible and has a few spare so fingers crossed it may work , the loss adjuster allowed em £1500 that will just about cover materials. Kop

Bet that’s going to be fun siliconing it :D glad it’s you

They're on sheets, about 7" x 10". I'm using mapei flexi rapid set, white and mapei white grout right around. In the wetroom bit I'm using an epoxy grout which is recommended by the former manufacturer.

you ever used epoxy grout before ?

No, I've used 2 part grout before. What looked like normal grout with a latex additive.

I hear it’s a pita to work with and you need hot water and scouring pads to clean it off best having a word on the tilers forum for tips

Got a few more cut and stuck down ready for next week as i am having a day off a tomorrow. Regards Kop

A day off, I wish, enjoy.

Looks like a bit of SAS this week. Saturday and Sunday.

Starting another wet room monday. Have to finish this one. Got an outside tap to do before builders start on Monday up the road. An unvented cylinder to remove. Toilet to fix and a couple of oil boilers to service.

I will get to my 4 day working week next year.

A Bit busy then 😁, think of the money though.

My first solo UFH job.
Homeowner was project managing/self building, had the screed booked for the next day but hadn’t finished the block and beam flooring

Thanks for the tip. Was a bit of a nightmare job as there were no clear kitchen plans, materials in the way and floor not ready.
Everything was supplied for me on this job but I will make sure I have conduit next time.
