At 1st sight I thought this was a rip out picture but most of it is level and vertical
- but for us not enough clips and the bit on the right is wonkey maybe I have been had CHK

Why is?.......

Hot and cold so far apart
Who is hot below the cold
Why is hot leading into a 22mm pipe
Why is line beater crooked
Why is there a diff coloured compression on limbeater

So the answers are

A. To prevent cold being warmed by hot
B. So I didn't have to cross over
C. Customer didn't want to pay for us to put it all in 15mm to bathroom

D. Didn't realise it was to be honest. Seemed fine earlier.

E. Because the 22mm version is £15 in Travis clearance. Throw the 22-15 coupler in the box and use what you have.

After fitting the short length and running boiler there were two rads that didn't get warm in the house.

A bit of head scratching and I connected the 3rd pipe(middle between f n r) into the return and it all ran lovely!!

So in the end it looked a bit different anyway.

too many pulled bends in close proximity to each other if i was splitting hairs and also see no advantage to using 2 tundish and the one from the boiler is pretty much guaranteed to over flow should it go.
 
not too many bends as in more then needed, but as in it all looks very busy in a very close area everyone would have a different take on someone elses work. its just how youd do it differently.

My mentor hates my pipework and would never let me take the glory job but then im not a fan of his pipework or clip choice etc etc just personal opinion TB

Looks nice but hydraulically it's horrid.

Clips few and far between below boiler. Prv tun-dish - not pretty also filling loop inconvenient. Where is your wiring center going can't see a where nice within 1m of two ports.
 
mfgs the cupboard is deeper then it looks. and there is a verticle flue on it with no ceiling in that cupboard as the roof leaked a few years back

i can see your very protective over your bender, and i agree pulled bends do tell other plumbers that. but so can a soldered joint with no snots or runs, i wouldn't dream of buying a soldered crossover as the ones made with a bender look neater so do kicks off sets and shepherds hooks, but personally in a bank of pies i prefer tight bends

i guess we beg to differ
 
hahaha go on lads. yes i agree with the clip issue. imho square bends unless its internally/external corners ( in my fathers words "the more joints the more potential leaks, and if you don't see bends the plumbers crap")😉.
 
i was always told if you use one pulled bend use two pulled bends, etc etc what ever happened to JOTM?? that's where everyone used to post pictures of their master pieces and to fair there were one or two howlers in there.

Not at all. I can see both points of view! and yes, elbows can and often do look neater.

trying to keep it uniform rather then alternating between bends, not aiming it at anyone or thing just when you mentioned what the old man taught you regarding the use of bends that came flooding back from my early days right before i was made to rip out every solder joint id done and replace it to match all the pulled bends

nice offset on the erm cold i think. Would have put a clip closer to the offset .fair play for uping one.
